How often do you take time for a second look at your relationship or even listen to how you communicate with your “love one”? If you’ve experienced friction in past or current relationships, want to keep it “Spicy”, need to appreciate your sistah or brotha or just want to learn your role in the relationship, then we are here to help.  Achievers Step by Step, Inc. is hosting the 2^nd Annual Sistah Girl/BrothaHood Unity Event on March 27, 2010, at Richmond Heights Community Center located

at 8001 Dale Avenue from 6 p.m.-10 p.m.  The theme is "Relationships: An Evening of LOVE".  We will have guest speakers, spoken word artists, entertainment and local organization/business vendor stations to visit & healthy food to eat.

The purpose of the Sistah Girl/BrothaHood Unity Event is to heal and rebuild relationships between males and females in the African-American Communities.  Our goal is to enhance communication because so many of our relationships are damaged and broken due to failed communication or the lack of communication.  We plan to eliminate the stereotypes and barriers because society has taught us to prejudge individuals before really getting to know a person.  We have to encourage our one another to recognize and value our self worth by creating strong bonds through empowerment, social support and networking events.  We are all created uniquely therefore, we can learn from one another and appreciate the qualities and differences that both genders have to offer in order to address the many issues and obstacles we are constantly faced with.  Let’s work together to empower one another by eliminating stereotypes through education and relationship building. 

We are requesting your participation at this Great Event.  We hope that you will be a part of the Solution therefore; we would be pleased to have your support as a partner.  Let’s collectively work together to learn, educate and share knowledge of our Culture, Heritage and our true Relationship Roles.  Your contribution to our efforts at increasing Relationship Harmony, Family Unity, Community Involvement, Awareness, Peace & Love will be greatly appreciated and will not go unnoticed.  Achievers Step By Step, Inc. believes that it is time for us to take back our families and communities.  Together we can Empower, Educate and Heal one another! Tickets are $20 per person/$35 per couple.  The vendor’s booth fee is $60 and the entry deadline is March 1, 2010.
